The Florida Animation Festival is a multi-day film festival launched in 2016 by The Tallahassee Film Society in partnership with The Pod Advertising to showcase amazing animated films and spotlight both regional and global animation talent.
Our festival includes dozens of animated shorts submitted from around the world, a kick-off party, a free feature film for families, filmmaking workshops, swag, and more! The FAF is hosted in a historic Amtrak Station in the All Saints District of downtown Tallahassee; a unique, storied location from 1858 that speaks to the FAF’s identity as the only festival of its kind in North Florida.
Our logo represents our vision for the festival. Like thousands of digital pixels that come together to form a concrete picture, our wish for the festival is that patrons, artists, and filmmakers will come together to create a vibrant celebration of the art of animation.
All Saints Cinema is located at
918 Railroad Avenue
Tallahassee, FL 32310
We are preparing things for our 2021 festival, keeping an eye on how things are progressing with COVID and events. At this time, we feel our safest course is to set up primarily for a virtual event and we have decided to host a few limited-attendance in-person screenings at the cinema! If you are in Tallahassee (or close enough) then consider visiting us at our local arthouse cinema, All Saints Cinema in the heart of the arts district.

Thank you to our global audience for your virtual attendance at the 2020 festival! It was a great experience for us as well, and gives us the motivation to forge ahead with another go at it!
Virtual Festival content is available for pre-sales or lock in your all-access pass on our FAF Gumroad page!
